Palo Alto to Acquire Enterprise Browser Provider Talon

As originally broken by CTech, multiple outlets are now reporting Palo Alto is close to announcing its acquisition of Enterprise Browser provider Talon. They expect the deal value to be approximately $625mm. This is Palo Alto’s second major acquisition in the Israel cybersecurity ecosystem in the last week. The company announced that it was acquiring DSPM provider Dig Security on October 31st.

Talon was founded in 2021 in Tel Aviv and has raised a total of $143mm. They last raised a $100mm Series A in August 2022. Investors include Lightspeed, Evolution Equity Partners and CrowdStrikeFalcon Fund.

Talon’s direct competitor Island announced a $100mm Series C about two weeks ago. I covered the announcement here.
